Pursuant to the Company Law, Art. 277, sections 2 and 3, the Managing Director of the joint stock company Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Zagreb, Krapinska 45, on April 25, 2018 passed the decision on convocation of the Annual General Meeting, to be held at the registered office of the Company in Zagreb, Krapinska 45, on June 20, 2018 at 4 p.m.
Study participants believe in the potential of IoT and describe new cellular IoT technologies as game changers. 70 percent of service providers interviewed do not have a well-defined strategy, instead they are testing alternative roles within the IoT value chain. 80 percent of interviewees aim to create value beyond connectivity either by providing differentiating services or by becoming IoT service enablers or service creators.

Gordana Kovačević, the President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla comments: “In Q1 2018, Ericsson Nikola Tesla Group sales revenue amounted to MHRK 341, down by 5.4% year-over-year. In line with expectations, there was a continuous revenue growth from services to Ericsson, primarily driven by expansion of responsibilities in our R&D center and other competence centers. We hired 73 new experts in Q1, and thus at the end of Q1 Ericsson Nikola Tesla Group had 3,088 employees.”

Mostar Fair: Agreements on cooperation between the representatives of science and business in the field of ICT were signed
During the 21st Mostar Fair, among hundreds of exhibitors from more than twenty countries, representing nearly all sectors of the economy, this year once again Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s exhibition stand was prominent for its contents and look, and was visited by numerous business partners, customers and other visitors during the five-day event. Within the Fair’s activities, Ericsson Nikola Tesla and the University of Mostar signed an Agreement on cooperation between science and business in the field of ICT, with the purpose to jointly create an innovative knowledge society.
On World Water Day, which is held annually on 22 March, we marked the official end of the first phase of WaterQ project, whose primary objective is to search into the applicability of information and communications technologies (ICT) and the concept of public collection of data in the assessment of risks and impact of water on human health.
In an auditorium filled to capacity, on Ericsson Nikola Tesla premises in Zagreb, the first demonstration of 5G technology in Croatia was held. At the same time, significant expansion of the company’s activities in the field of research and development was announced, revealing further intensive employment of experts in Croatia, namely on high added value jobs. Highest ranking government officials, headed by the President of the Government of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković, attended the event named “Focused on the future”. Along with the Vice President of the Government Martina Dalić, Minister of Finance Zdravko Marić, Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds Gabrijela Žalac and Minister of Science and Education Blaženka Divjak, the conference was attended by numerous other state officials, representatives from the political sphere, diplomatic corps, academia from Zagreb, Split and Osijek, The Croatian Employers' Association, as well as by the customers and partners of the company.
