In Zagreb, on 23 - 24 October the 6th International Conference on Business Processes - Business Process Conference 2007 was held. It was organized by the Economics Faculty Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Information Science Varaždin, and InfoDom ltd. under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the renowned Business Process Management Institute as co-organizers.
Over the years the Business Process Conference has become the most significant conference in the region, with topics covering business processes and knowledge management. Also its influence on numerous projects in the industry and trade and in public sector has been recognized.
This year the conference took place under the motto: "With operational transformation to a knowledge company". The conference was focused on business process and innovation management, and respectively on process knowledge development as a pre-requisite for networking of companies and competitiveness improvement in the entire Croatian economy.
The conference gathered some 300 experts from the industry and government administration, scientists and university professors from the area of management, IS/IT and communications.
