The award ceremony for the best contestants was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integrations together with the Croatian Academic and Research Network (CARNet) to mark European Week and it was held at the CARNet premises in Zagreb.
Contest winners were addressed by Marija Pejčinović Burić, state secretary for European integrations; she emphasized how important it is to increase the awareness among the young that participation in the European initiatives and educational programs provides new possibilities and opportunities for professional development and promotion.
The best web design page award went to the Technical, industrial and trade school from Čakovec. All first prize winners (winning team members) obtained mobile phones Sony Ericsson K 800i, provided by the company Ericsson Nikola Tesla, and handed over by their Communication Director Snježana Bahtijari. She congratulated the young contestants on the achieved results and emphasized the company had supported the Login@Europe contest since its very beginning; thus the company encourages innovativeness, competence development and knowledge of the European Union among young people.
