On October 4th Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, signed the Code of Business Ethics. In May 2005 the Assembly of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce adopted this document and advised all its members to sign it.  This document provides an outline of ethical conduct to be applied by all subjects in the Croatian economy.

The Code of Ethical Conduct emphasizes the necessity of open public dialogue; it provides ethical guidelines to promote decision-making to the benefit of both companies and the community, with emphasis on environmental care. Defined ethical criteria should contribute to transparent and efficient operations and to better relations between companies in Croatia and their business environment. This document complies with the documents published already on the Internet pages of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, i.e. with Ericsson's Corporate Code of Business Ethics and Conduct and with the Corporate Governance Principles at Ericsson Nikola Tesla. Very soon all employees of Ericsson Nikola Tesla will have the opportunity to sign the Code of Business Ethics.
