Milan Bandić, the mayor of Zagreb and Ivo Jelušić, the deputy mayor, with their associates visited the company on March 31. Gordana Kovačević, the president of the company, together with the members of the management team, held a working meeting during which she told the delegation about the company, its activities and business performance. She singled out ETK as a large knowledge exporter, an economic subject that opens new perspectives in terms of global activities and a company very much concerned with the satisfaction and motivation of its employees, which is in line with its strategic decision to retain its best-employer status.

This working session at Ericsson Nikola Tesla was the first in a series of meetings the mayor intends to hold with well-performing economic subjects. The purpose of such meetings is to identify good business models, define the transfer of good experience to other entrepreneurs and to convert it into strategic planning actions, in order to give impetus to economy, entrepreneurship and employment in Zagreb, and also to define possible forms of partnership between the City of Zagreb and economic subjects.

After the working session the guests and their hosts toured the company and met the representatives of the press.
