[22.12.2006] Ericsson Nikola Tesla, being a socially responsible company, decided to do something for a good cause again, i.e. to join the Clear a Square Meter of Minefield fundraising campaign.
[21.12.2006] Ericsson Nikola Tesla and TeleKRONA signed a new large contract worth 206.1 MHRK. With this contract the collaboration has been continued that started last year with a very large agreement with TelecomNet (TeleKRONA took over the jobs from TelecomNet).
[19.12.2006] The traditional national awards for the best web pages have been given for the seventh time: Vidi Web Top 100, the Prime Minister's Web Award and for the first time in Croatia – Vidi e-Innovation awards for the best-quality and highly inventive Croatian hi-tech products able to compete in the global market. Gordana Kovačević, the president of ETK, the co-founder of the e-Innovation contest, presented the VIDI e-Innovation awards to winners in the medium-size companies’ category.
[15.12.2006] On December 14, 2006 Ericsson Nikola Tesla marked one more successful year in its operation. The Christmas Party that was held in the well-known Zagreb club Saloon was attended by many company’s customers and business partners, VIPs from the local social and political scene, as well as by many media representatives.

[06.07.2006] On July 5 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of birth of Nikola Tesla the Croatian president Stjepan Mesić awarded several Croatian scientists and business people who contributed by their work to preservation and promotion of Nikola Tesla's heritage with The Order of the Croatian Star with the Effigy of Nikola Tesla. One of the recipients of the Order was M.Sc. Gordana Kovčević, president of ETK. The company was awarded in the same ceremony by The Charter of the Republic of Croatia.

[21.06.2006] The biggest Croatian exporter of telecom services and solutions Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed a contract with the first Belarus mobile operator JV MDC Velcom about the infrastructure upgrade, valued at HRK 250 million. The Croatian telecom exporter and Belarus operator that this year celebrates the seventh year of its operation contracted this job in the middle of June.

This year's contest topic was The Young People's Mobility in the European Union, a topic relating to the European Year of Workers' Mobility 2006.
[28.04.2006] Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Croatian ICT leader will provide BH Telecom, the biggest operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the equipment and solutions enabling new advanced mobile telephony services. The representatives of these two business partners whose cooperation spans many years signed contracts valued at more than HRK 7.5 million. This contract will enable significant expansion and upgrade of the mobile communication services in BH Telecom's networks.
[27.04.2006] As it was announced at a press conference by Vipnet, the Croatian wireless subsidiary of the Telecom Austria Group, their mobile Internet access over the first HSDPA network in this country has been launched and is now available to users in three Croatian cities - Zagreb Rijeka and Opatija.

Orders booked went up by 14%, whereas sales went up by 11% compared to the same period last year. [30.01.2006.] Indonesian mobile operator Natrindo Telepon Selular (NTS) has awarded Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERICY) a contract to build, operate and manage its new 3G/WCDMA network in Jakarta and surrounding areas.
