Operation in the markets of the Commonwealth of Independent Countries
In April and May contracts valued at HRK 30,7 million

With new contracts signed in Russia Ericsson Nikola Tesla has significantly widened its existing AXE system infrastructure in that market and the company also signed several strategic enterprise contracts in the markets of the Commonwealth of the Independent Countries (CIS). The jobs contracted over April and May include sales of one new combined AXE switching centre as well as upgrades and modernization of several existing fixed telecom nodes in Russia and Moldova. Enterprise contracts were made with Kazakstan customers. In total these jobs are valued at HRK 30,7 million.

Gordana Kovačević, M. Sc., president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla comments:
"Our presence in the markets of the Commonwealth of the Independent Countries has always been based on the partnership and trust that we built with our customer over many years so that even today when the price pressures, especially those by the suppliers from the Far East, are felt and when customers have increasingly complex demands we can operate with success. We consider further strong positioning in these markets to be strategically very important as being the biggest Croatian exporter of sophisticated ICT solutions is a part of our image."

Josip Jakovac, KAM CIS, says about the recent company's job in that market:
"Big contracts for the building of the fixed infrastructure are today very rare as the markets in Eastern Europe and Central Asia are pretty saturated. That is why we now focus on upgrades of the existing systems, establishing partnerships with new customers and we are increasingly successful in sales within the Enterprise segment. As our recent results achieved in April and May this year show, this operational strategy is very successful."
