Ericsson Nikola Tesla and Vodatel Croatia, one of the most important Internet services providers in the country, signed a contract on delivery of total TriplePlay infrastructure covering the area of the City of Zagreb, and as the demand in the market dictates, in the wider area.

The contract was signed by Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla and Sebastijan Popović, president of the Vodatel Croatia Board. It will be realized over the period of five years.

Signing of this contract has created prerequisites for additional expansion of our network so that we can offer to the residential users in the Croatian biggest cities the use of the TriplePlay extension enabling cheaper fixed telephone calls, watching the digital TV and surfing the Internet via 10Mbps links."

TriplePlay is the new technology that ensures the convergence of speech, data and video content. Users of Vodatel TriplePlay services in Croatia will have at their disposal two telephone numbers over one pear, wideband Internet access, several dozens of Pay TV channels, video on demand and other advanced TriplePlay services.

This contract is a successful continuation of the partnership between Ericsson Nikola Tesla and Vodatel Croatia. Based on their previous experiences in delivery of metro networks Ericsson Nikola Tesla experts are ready to supply Vodatel Croatia with a top quality TriplePlay solution, in line with the needs of the Croatian market. The network will be put in commercial operation in this year's second quarter and planned dynamics of realization is 1000 users per month.
