The desire of the Vidi e-Innovation Contest was to give additional impetus to the Croatian ICT community and to create a suitable environment for the development of as many as possible innovative ICT - Hi-Tech products that are highly competitive in the demanding global market.
Gordana Kovačević, the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the co-founder of the e-Innovation contest, presented the VIDI e-Innovation awards to winners in the medium-size companies' category. In her speech she emphasized ETK's practice which confirms that with systematic work you can build and retain the status of innovative and expert knowledge center with global responsibilities in Croatia. She was glad to declare the Company's support to the National Innovativeness Award project intended to encourage and inspire new ideas.
Over 250 prominent representatives from Croatian science, business and politics attended and listened to the presentations given by contest award winners. Vidi Web Top 100 awards have been presented for the seventh year in succession for the best web pages in various categories: finance, corporations, car-selling branch, science, education and culture, Internet sales, media and politics. Among more than 4100 web pages entered, an independent jury including renowned experts from leading Croatian editorial offices, institutions and companies selected the best 10 in 10 categories.
