At the press conference 13 June held at Ericsson Nikola Tesla, company CEO Gordana Kovačević and Josip Čop, secretary general of the Croatian Olympic Committee (HOO) signed a sponsorship agreement for technology and innovation partnership.

The subject matter of the agreement is electronic medical records for the Croatian Olympic team members, designed by Ericsson Nikola Tesla. The application is founded on cutting-edge information-communication technologies; it enables an authorized team of medical doctors to access medical records of patients via the Internet and to have insight in existing medical information. It also enables updating independently of the geographical location and time. 

 
Within the corporate responsibility concept the company used its assets – innovative thinking and technology leadership - to support the best in the Croatian sport.

„With this project we want to improve the health care delivered to our athletes and thus contribute to their performance at the Olympic Games in China“, said Gordana Kovačević.
Zlatko Mateša, HOO president and MD Boris Labar, president of HOO Health Commission spoke at the conference and emphasized the importance of e-medical record.

The conference attendance included also the chairmen of the Croatian sports associations. Best wishes were given to our athletes at the Olympic Games in Beijing.
