The Ericsson Corporation put the operator Tele2 Croatia on its Success Story list. Reasons and details preceding the recognition were presented by Johan Granlund, CEO of Tele2 Croatia and Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

Tele2 Croatia was recognized by the Ericsson Corporation for having implemented (among the first in the world) the all-IP concept in their HSPA network. The Success Story of Tele2 Croatia has its origins in an outstanding collaboration with Ericsson's company in Croatia, Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla expressed satisfaction that this collaboration had been identified by global Ericsson as outstanding in terms of quality and technological achievement. Tele2 Croatia started to collaborate with its partner Ericsson Nikola Tesla very early. Ericsson’s manner of working, mutual understanding and Ericsson’s technological leadership created a solid foundation for satisfaction and growth. 
 

Gordana Kovačević thanked Tele2 Croatia for having trust in Ericsson Nikola Tesla and for visionary implementation of new technologies, especially HSPA and mobile broadband access and an all-IP based, efficient transport network. Ericsson Nikola Tesla implemented in the Tele2 network a solution that includes HSDPA and Enhanced uplink, also an all-IP transport network that is a global forerunner and enables a speedy and efficient transmission of vast quantities of data, much to the satisfaction of all users. An all-IP based transport network makes it possible to use Ethernet that provides even more efficient data transmission at better scalability and service quality. 
 
The experience gained in implementing all-IP and HSPA evolution technologies should make the implementation of even faster broadband technologies much easier; in these technologies Ericsson is a market and technology leader and Ericsson Nikola Tesla a confirmed global services center. Considering the upcoming fifth revolution in computing and IT we expect that the Croatian market will develop at the same rate as the global market. We are very motivated because we actively participate in the development of the local, regional and global market and we contribute to customer satisfaction with our services, products and solutions, said Gordana Kovačević.
