[30.12.2009] The Croatian Prime Minister, Jadranka Kosor, met Gordana Kovačević at the Croatian Government premises

[22.12.2009] Leading operators were in attendance when Ericsson demonstrated its latest mobile broadband technology, HSPA Evolution with 42Mbps, near Stockholm, Sweden. Commercially-available hardware and software was used with the first commercial chipset for 42Mbps dual carrier technology. The average consumer download speed achieved in the demo was a staggering 41.5Mbps.

[21.12.2009] After five successful years at the head of the company, the Supervisory Board entrusted Goradana Kovačević, MSc, with another five year term of office.

[16.12.2009] The Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the Croatian Business Council for sustainable development awarded, for the second year in a row, the best Croatian companies for their socially responsible business operations. This year, Ericsson Nikola Tesla was awarded, in the category of large companies, for its positive practice in all areas of socially responsible business operations. Gordana Kovačević, MSc, the president of the company received the award.

[16.12.2009] The Croatian Chamber of Commerce awarded Ericsson Nikola Tesla a plaque "Zlatna kuna" for achievements in business operations in 2008, in the category of large companies in Zagreb. Mr Hrvoje Benčić, the Operators Segment director in Ericsson Nikola Tesla, was handed in the medallion by Mr Zlatan Fröhlich DSc the president of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, and by Jelena Pavičić-Vukičević, the deputy mayor of Zagreb.

[14.12.2009] Ericsson nominated the solution e-Health Croatia by Ericsson Nikola Tesla, for the SMART 2020 current year report presented in the eve of the Sustainable Development and Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. The solution is about the primary Healthcare networking Information System in Croatia. After the independent evaluation of the nominated solutions by the world leading ICT companies, the organizer decided to recommend this solution and include it in the Report of top 25.

[11.12.2009] Our company presented its ICT solutions for traffic at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences at the conference on ICT in traffic technology, held late in November. The conference was organized by Ericsson Nikola Tesla and the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences within the scope of their agreement on business and technical collaboration.

[04.12.2009] Ericsson Nikola Tesla and BH Telecom signed contracts for modernizing the operator's fixed, service and mobile networks. Pursuant to this the networks performance shall be optimized.

[26.11.2009] On Friday, November 20, 2009 the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, FER, celebrated its University Day. Several hundred guests from the academic community and business attended the ceremony. Ericsson Nikola Tesla traditionally awards the best student papers in the field of telecommunications. Marijana Đuzel, Director of Human Resources and Organization at Ericsson Nikola Tesla handed over the prizes to students.

[24.11.2009] Ericsson Nikola Tesla continues with making new contracts in its export market. Thus several new contracts have been made for the CIS market. The new business amounts to HRK 54.8 million.

[06.11.2009] Ericsson Nikola Tesla celebrated its 60th anniversary in the Hypo Center in Zagreb.The event took place under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Stjepan Mesić. Some 700 invited guests representing political and business segments of the state, the company's customers and partners from Croatia and abroad attended the 60th anniversary celebration.

[02.11.2009] Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed new contracts for export to CIS countries and Bosnia&Herzegovina. MSc. Gordana Kovačević, the company president, gave a comment : ”I’m satisfied with this new business in export, because our efforts to stimulate the customers to invest into the development and modernization of their networks resulted in several important contract and this is not an end of this positive trend."

[29.10.2009] Ericsson, the world’ leading provider of telecommunication equipment and services, and Etisalat, one of the largest global telecommunication companies, jointly demonstrate innovative Mobile Healthcare solution during the Dubai GITEX Technology week. In this area, it is Ericsson Nikola Tesla's major move into global market.

[27.10.2009] In the evaluation of the Company's performance Gordana Kovačević, President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, pointed out the following: „In the current economic climate we have witnessed a slowdown of investments on the part of our customers and partners, budget cuts and postponement of deals regarding network development or implementation of new functionalities in the ICT segment. However, user demand for new services and broadband access are on the increase.

[22.10.2009] "Sales of network equipment declined due to lower demand in the current tougher market environment. The strong development in Professional Services continued," says Carl-Henric Svanberg, President and CEO of Ericsson. "Our cost reduction activities are running ahead of plan with further opportunities for efficiency improvements and savings."

[13.10.2009] Ericsson's high-tech Truck Road Show 2009 has arrived in Zagreb and is now on company premises. A number of presentations will be held in Ericsson Nikola Tesla on October 13 – 14 for our key customers and business partners.

[01.10.2009] The 16th ITS World Congress has just finished in Stockholm. Congress offered business and technology overview of the state-of-the-art in the field of Intelligent Transport Systems development and deployment. Ericsson provided numerous contributions to ITS World Congress. Croatian experts successfully participated in this congress with the demonstrations as well as with the papers.

[24.09.2009] BH Telecom, the largest operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d. signed new contracts amounting to HRK 32 million. The contracts are related to the extension of 3G network, as well as to the upgrade of the core network of BH Telecom.

[11.09.2009] Ericsson is enabling Sweden's largest cable television operator, Com Hem, to deliver new advanced entertainment services to its consumers via an interactive TV platform. The new on-demand services will mean viewers can catch up on their favorite TV programs anytime.

[07.09.2009] BH Telecom, the largest telecom operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed a new contract for GSM technology worth 30 million kunas. The project execution will start instantly.

[03.09.2009] Japan's first HSPA Evolution network has been launched in the country's largest metropolitan cities, including Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama and Nagoya, enabling peak data rates of 21Mbps. The deployment is part of a major expansion and upgrade agreement between Ericsson and leading mobile broadband operator, EMOBILE.

[10.08.2009] Ericsson Nikola Tesla has signed IPTV contract with main Georgian mobile operator Magticom. The contract is worth over 17 million kunas.

[28.07.2009] In the evaluation of company's performance Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, pointed out the following:
 „The global recession undoubtedly impacts the telecommunications market which experiences a sharp decline in activities and operators' investments, however at continued price pressures".

[24.07.2009] The effects of the global economic climate on the mobile infrastructure market are now more notable," said Carl-Henric Svanberg, President and CEO of Ericsson. "At the same time the consumer demand for new services and broadband capabilities are quickly accelerating and rollout of new technologies is ongoing in the world's leading economies. There is also an increasing demand for professional services from operators across the world.

[22.07.2009] Ericsson and Telefónica O2 UK have signed a multi-year managed services agreement. Ericsson will provide field maintenance and other services for the Telefónica O2 UK 2G and 3G networks.

[17.07.2009] The Ericsson Corporation put the operator Tele2 Croatia on its Success Story list. Reasons and details preceding the recognition were presented by Johan Granlund, CEO of Tele2 Croatia and Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

[14.07.2009] Ericsson has completed the world’s largest upgrade of a live mobile network, and done it at a record pace. To improve quality of service for more than 13 million Vodafone Essar subscribers in India’s four key zones including three large metro cities, Ericsson replaced more than 10,500 of the operator’s GSM radio sites, reaching a peak rate of one site every minute.

[07.07.2009] Ericsson has been awarded contracts with the three telecom operators in China to provide fixed broadband access. Millions of people in an initial nine Chinese provinces will now be able to enjoy high-definition TV, as well as high-speed broadband and quality voice services.

[01.07.2009] Ericsson confirms it has signed license agreements for LTE essential patents. Ericsson is a strong advocate for reasonable aggregated royalties and holds the industry's strongest LTE patent portfolio. Ericsson is now taking the lead in establishing an industry practice to promote healthy market growth. This builds on Ericsson's present global licensing program for GSM/WCDMA, now composed of more than 80 agreements and generating significant revenue.

[30.06.2009] The Business Innovation Forum took place in Stockholm on 23rd and 24th June and it was open exclusively to the media; represented were 33 countries from all over the world, including Croatia.

[26.06.2009] Ericsson's (NASDAQ:ERIC) Board of Directors has appointed Hans Vestberg President and CEO of Ericsson as of January 1, 2010. Hans Vestberg is currently CFO and Executive Vice President.  Hans Vestberg is succeeding Carl-Henric Svanberg who has accepted to take on the position as Chairman of BP, the world's fourth largest company.

[17.06.2009] The dividend for the business year 2008 will be paid out on June 24, 2009.

[16.06.2009] T-Mobile Macedonia, the leading operator in Macedonia, is introducing high-speed mobile broadband services to its 1.3 million subscribers with the help of WCDMA/HSPA technology from Ericsson. The companies have signed a four-year contract for a nationwide HSPA-enabled network and modernization of the packet-core network.

[09.06.2009] Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) today announced an exclusive contract with 3 Italia that includes a seven-year agreement to modernize and upgrade the existing WCDMA/HSPA network with Ericsson technologies and architectures. It also includes an extension of the current managed services deal.

[02.06.2009] Mr. sc. Darko Milinović, Minister of Health and Social Welfare in Croatia and mr.sc. Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla have made an agreement, valued over 55 million HRK, on June 2 about hardware and software supply for upgrading national primary health care IT system. The contact covers maintenance, installation and implementation of new functionalities in already existing Croatian primary health care IT system.

[29.05.2009] MIPRO, taking place in Opatija, 25-29 May 2009; Focus on ICT, electronics and microelectronics, delegates from 30 countries. Gordana Kovačević received a recognition charter for achievements in ICT, electronics and microelectronics development in Croatia; the charter was awarded on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the company Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

[27.05.2009] The Annual Shareholders Meeting of the joint stock company Ericsson Nikola Tesla took place on 26 May 2009. At the Meeting the share capital was represented with 81,583,700 HRK, which is 61.27 percent of the total share capital, enough to make the meeting eligible for lawful decision-making.

[25.05.2009] Ericsson and TeliaSonera have unveiled the world's first commercial Long- Term Evolution (LTE) site in Stockholm, Sweden - an important milestone in making the mobile digital highway a reality. LTE will transform the mobile-broadband user experience, providing the ultra-high data speeds needed for services such as internet TV, mobile video blogging, on-line video games and the mobile office environment.

[19.05.2009] TRIDVAJEDAN (ThreeTwoOne) team was awarded for its achievement in the field of corporate design - the Annual Report 2007 of Ericsson Nikola Tesla. The European Design Award in the annual reports category was handed over at a ceremony held in Zurich on 17 May.

[15.05.2009] Ericsson has signed a contract to further develop and manage an operator-neutral city network in Hudiksvall, Sweden. It is the first time Ericsson has taken on both expansion and operation of a city network.

[06.05.2009] Ericsson Nikola Tesla contracted new deals  in Russia worth in total over 19.5 MHRK. Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla said on these contracts: „New deals in the Russian market were made amid a strong competition. Highly modern solutions and equipment (we offer) and the vast experience of our specialists acquired in numerous demanding projects influenced this choice."

[05.05.2009] The annual Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Report, released May 4, highlights Ericsson's ongoing efforts to solve environmental challenges and bring about long-term economic and social change.

[30.04.2009] "We have started the year with good growth ahead of the market and a positive margin trend but with a weaker cash flow," said Carl-Henric Svanberg, President and CEO of Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC).

[29.04.2009] In the performance evaluation Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, pointed out the following: „Considering the present market situation, our operations in the first quarter of the year went well."

[22.04.2009] During his official visit to the Republic of Croatia, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco visited Ericsson Nikola Tesla, a top performing Croatian company that is part of the Ericsson Corporation. On this occasion the company president Gordana Kovačević presented the company’s operations and responsibilities in the regional and global market. 

[15.04.2009] Ericsson and Telenor Sweden today announced the first ever contract for Ericsson's Business Communication Suite (BCS), which will enhance multimedia experiences for Telenor's enterprise customers with collaboration services in Sweden.

[07.04.2009] Ericsson Nikola Tesla concluded new contracts worth 8.2 MHRK with the operators T-Com Montenegro and T-Mobile Montenegro.

[03.04.2009] Ericsson continues to increase HSPA speeds for an even better user experience and sustainable development of mobile broadband. Higher data rates give users an instantaneous connection. A click on a web link brings up the corresponding page immediately, even when many users are online at the same time.

[01.04.2009] Ericsson Nikola Tesla made new contracts for the Russian Federation and Moldova markets, amounting to 11.2 million kunas.

[26.03.2009] Annual Meeting of Shareholders of Ericsson Nikola Tesla will be held at the registered office of the Company in Zagreb, Krapinska 45, on 26th May 2009 at 16.00.

[25.03.2009] Vodafone UK and Ericsson announced a seven year agreement which will see Ericsson provide maintenance and operations for Vodafone UK's 2G and 3G radio access networks. The contract includes the transfer of approximately 350 employees from Vodafone to Ericsson, scheduled for the beginning of May.

[23.03.2009] The FER Students Association and KSET organized the traditional „Job Fair” in order to provide information to FER students about employment and career development opportunities. Students met the representatives of Ericsson Nikola Tesla in the Grey Hall (at FER).

[17.03.2009.] Ericsson has performed the world's first live demonstration of a VDSL2-based technology achieving data transfer rates of more than 0.5Gbps. This will allow operators to offer low-cost, high-performance connectivity to an increased range of mobile backhaul customers, enterprise users and residential customers.

[12.03.2009] At the press conference, Ericsson Nikola Tesla's president, Gordana Kovačević presented the performance 2008 and said she was satisfied with the achievements in 2008. Despite a very challenging year, Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s business results meet the planned figures, the operations were stable and with a tendency toward growth.

[06.03.2009] The appointment of Carl-Henric Svanberg, President and CEO of Ericsson, highlights the importance of telecommunications in achieving sustainable development and closing the gap between developing and developed countries. [26.02.2009] Ericsson is on the Global 100 list of the most sustainable large corporations in the world. This list was announced at the Davos World Economic Forum. Analysis has shown that belonging to Global 100 list provides a valuable leading indicator of better-managed, more agile, ‘future-proof’ companies.

[24.02.2009] Ericsson and Telecom Italia initiate deployment of mobile network technology of 28 Mbps speeds in early 2009. The deployment will include MIMO technology. Milan will be the first town to become the Italian 'ultra-broadband city', enjoying speeds up to 28 Mbps in download and 5.8 Mbps in upload.

[18.02.2009] Ericsson announced the launch of an innovative social networking portfolio for mobile network operators, the Pixl8r initiative and the Social Media Portal. The technologies together offer simplified sharing of user-generated content between friends across diverse networks.

[12.02.2009] Ericsson will trial multimedia applications based on the Rich Communication Suite standard in cooperation with Telefónica, one of the world's largest telecommunications companies. This is the world's first live demonstration of interoperable rich communication services.

[10.02.2009] Ericsson Nikola Tesla and its customer "Interdnjestrcom" from Tiraspol, a city in Eastern Moldova, signed a contract for broadband access delivery. Ericsson's Ethernet DSL Access (EDA) in ADSL2+ technology will enable this operator to offer to users attractive Internet services.

[06.02.2009] Vipnet’s Technology Day held on February 5 featured the latest technology for mobile broadband, HSPA+, and to have reached a speed of up to 21 Mbps for data download from the Internet. Vipnet is one of the first in the world to have successfully tested and demonstrated this new technology for speed increase and the project was realised in cooperation with Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

[28.01.2009] Maltese company Melita, provider of home entertainment and telecommunications, has become the first in the world to integrate HSPA mobile broadband into its existing cable-TV network, adding mobile broadband to its TV, internet and fixed telephony offerings.

[22.01.2009] Ericsson and TeliaSonera today announced the signing of a commercial LTE network. The roll-out of the 4G mobile broadband network will offer the highest data rates ever realized, with the best interactivity and quality. This network will cover Sweden's capital Stockholm and the contract is Ericsson's first for commercial deployment of LTE.
