The delegation of the Croatian Government headed by the Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor paid a visit to Ericsson Nikola Tesla. The Prime Minister was accompanied by the delegation of several ministers: MSc Darko Milinović, the Vice-president and the Minister of Health and Social Security, MSc Đuro Popijač, Minister of Economy, Labor and Entrepreneurship, Prof. DSc  Ivan Šimonović, Minister of Justice, and other associates.

MSc Gordana Kovačević, the president of the company, welcome this high delegation. Following the agenda, the host with her associates held talks with their guests and made a tour of inspection in the company. During the tour, guests were presented the key company solutions, among which E-health and Ericsson Mobile Health are of special importance. Further topics of the meeting were important projects in the realization of which Ericsson Nikola Tesla works on for the state administration like E-Health and E-Cadastre. The president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla presented important achievements and responsibilities of the company, both in the home and foreign markets, with a special attention given to the export of knowledge and new innovative ICT solutions developed in Ericsson Nikola Tesla. Regardless of the crisis in 2009, the company maintained stabile business operations and invested in new competencies, employees, new and new business segments.

The Prime Ministar Kosor showed unreserved pleasure with the company management and employees, who despite crisis and unfavorable conditions for business operations have maintained stabile results. “I’d like to apply the presented ways of working to other environments”, said the Prime Minister. She also pointed out that Ericsson Nikola Tesla was the first company awarded a recognition the “Company-Family Friend” by the Ministry of Family, Veterans’ Affairs and Intergeneration Solidarity, and in even in the year of crisis recorded almost a hundred newly employed.
The president of Ericssona Nikola Tesla expressed thanks to the Prime Minister for visiting the company especially now, when the Government has initiated a comprehensive program of measures for the economy recovery. Ericsson Nikola Tesla, being a regional ICT leader, but also the active participant in global telecom trends, may be an important factor in the economy development of Croatia.
