5th Day of Suppliers and Partners Held in Ericsson Nikola Tesla 
Time of changes requires continuous adaptations

The traditional 5th in a row Day of Suppliers and partner of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, held in the company, gathered all key company suppliers and partners.  The theme of the even was devoted to the time of changes, which means adaptations to new markets and technological requirements and new organization models  and responsibilities.

The moderator of the event was Zoran Zorić, the manager of the Strategic Sourcing in Ericsson Nikola Tesla, who welcomed the audience and offered thanks for the great response to the invitation.
The first to address the audience was Andrew Skelton, Finance director, who presented the company results for the nine months of 2010, and some organizational changes in Ericsson that have reflected to the business of our company, as well. He underlined, that despite the crisis, the company managed to keep the financial stability and continued with investments into important development projects. This year, Ericsson Corporation carried out the adaptation to new business needs, and as of the new Organization Model, Ericsson Nikola Tesla now makes business within the Region West and Central Europe. The aim of this adaptation is even stronger focus to customer needs, strengthening or reliability and speed of activities, as well as optimization in engagement of all resources, was the conclusion by Andrew Skelton, Finance Director.


 The business segment for industry and society was the topic discussed by Boris Drilo, the director of that segment in Ericsson Nikola Tesla. In his presentation, he stressed the development of a wide range of total solutions aimed for industry and government administration that were developed by the company specialists and introduced into its product portfolio. To illustrate his words he mentioned eHealth, eCadastre, digital city, intelligent transport systems and radar&communications system for maritime traffic control. All the mentioned projects are quite complex and some 200 specialists in the company are engaged on them. These specialists need the support of our suppliers and partners, who are expected to be proactive, flexible and understand both market and technological changes.  
Ericsson Nikola Tesla is a proactive organization that is fully focused to its customers, so the business excellence has been implemented in all levels of organization and all business processes, as well.  This makes the basis for our competitive advantages. Aspirations to professional excellence and advanced business culture, innovativeness, and permanent focus to the result, are our ways of working. From our supplier and partners we expect the acceptance and adoption such high standards, point out Orhideja Gjenero, in charge of Relations with Investors, and the member of the operative excellence team in Ericsson Nikola Tesla.


At the end of the first part of event, Zoran Zorić, the manager of Strategic Sourcing again addressed the audience and underlined that Ericsson Nikola Tesla builds long-term business relations with all its supplies, which means a dialogue and exchange of knowledge, as well as the application of up to date models of work. We require from pour suppliers to observe high quality standards, to observe the set values- professionalism, perseverance and respect, as well as continuous adaptations to market conditions and new technological trends.  Thus, we shall be able together in times of crisis and recession to give good quality answers to high requirements of the market and our customers.


 

The second part of the event, our most prominent suppliers and partners were presented in a specially organized stands. They expressed great interest and readiness for direct contact with the representatives of our company in order to exchange experience and suggest new models of cooperation, having in mind complex economical and market conditions in which we are together doing business.
