Gordana Kovačević received the European Leader SHE Award 2010

MSc Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla is one of six most prominent European women leaders – from Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, Croatia and Romania.  The Awards were granted on the occasion of the International LeaderSHE Forum (The Creative Management of Change), organized in Vienna on April 7-8 in cooperation with Mr. Erhard Busek, former Vice Chancellor of Austria.


Gordana Kovačević was elected by an international media jury as one of the most prominent business leaders in the region because of her professional performance, commitment to change and potential to inspire.
To comment this award, Gordana Kovačević said: “I share this award with my colleagues from Ericsson Nikola Tesla and global Ericsson and this recognition is the acknowledgement of achievements so far, but at the same time it is a huge commitment for future. I would like to emphasize that leadership of today is directly engaged in bringing vision to reality with focus on change and use of different perspectives. Be the change you want to create is a motto in my way of leading.

 
Under considerably aggravating circumstances for business operations as they are now, I am determined to go on with my consistent approach and work, and along with the efficiency and perseverance of all our employees I’ll do my best to prove that the team I lead is extremely valuable member of the business and social community in Croatia, in the region and within the Ericsson group".

 

The event gathered more than 150 high profile delegates – state ministers from Austria, Bulgaria and Finland, women entrepreneurs from USA, Egypt, Kingdom of Jordan, Ukraine, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Spain, Great Britain and Austria, members of the European Parliament and representatives of international organizations that promote true leadership.
