Ericsson Nikola Tesla Participates in Standardization of Electronic Records Management

ETK representative and a member of Document Lifecyle Management Forum (DLM Forum) for several years, Marko Lukičić from unit ICT solution for Industry and Society Segment, was enlisted the full member of  MoReq Governance Board (MGB). DLM Forum Committee is in charge of MoReq specification development, related to establishing the electronic administration in EU.


DLM Forum was launched in 1996 under the decision by the European commission on setting up a multidisciplinary body for research, promotion and implementation of possibilities and ways for extending the cooperation if the field of electronic records of individual EU members, but also at the level of the Union itself.

 

 At the beginning of 2008, DLM Forum published another version of the MoReq specification, and the standard MoReq2, respectively. This standard is of utmost importance in establishing the electronic administration in EU, and in Croatia too. Within a number of activities related to the implementation of the electronic administration system in Croatia, the Central Government office for e-Croatia has initiated the standardization and setting up the infrastructure, which will have a role of information backbone for e-Administration. And just, MoReq2 was recognized as a cornerstone of standardization in office performance that is to be formalized through the operation of Forum e-Office. It is about the body established by the Central Government Office for e-Croatia, within which Ericsson Nikola Tesla has been active through its representative.

 

The basic tasks by MGB cover the management of development of the future versions of the Standard, its translation to other languages and maintenance of the test mode for MoReq certification. Marko Lukičić will be the work group leader for translation and participation in the development of the new version of the standard MoReq2010.
