Tihomir Šicel, sales and marketing director for industry and society segment, was given the Recognition in Informatics for 2010. It is an annual award by the Croatian Informatics Association. On that occasion Tihomir Šicel said: “The Croatian Informatics Association has recognized the active role of  Ericsson Nikola Tesla in the informatization of Croatia, not only by implementation of technology by also through education of possible users and awarded the recognition for contribution and achieved results in application and development of informatics in Croatia”.

The Croatian Informatics Association is an independent professional umbrella association of institutions and individuals interested in the development, promotion  and improvement of informatics and related technologies in the Republic of Croatia. It was established in 1975 and since than it operates with no interruptions.
