[11.04.2013] Ericsson has reached an agreement with Microsoft to acquire its TV solution Mediaroom business. This will make Ericsson the leading provider of IPTV and multi-screen solutions with a market share of over 25%. Closing expected during the second half of 2013.

[10.04.2013] Pursuant to the Company Law, Art. 277, sections 2 and 3, the Managing Director of the joint stock company Ericsson Nikola Tesla Zagreb, Krapinska 45, on April 9, 2013 passed the decision on the convocation of the Annual General Meeting, to be held at the registered office of the Company in Zagreb, Krapinska 45, on May 28, 2013 at 4 p.m.

[27.03.2013] Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the leading regional supplier of telecom solutions and BH Telecom, the largest telecom operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina, signed a contract on the modernization of the packet switching core network of this operator amounting to MHRK 10.

Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s Summer Camp is the laureate in the category “Project organizing for students”, and the Company is awarded for the best image, according to students’ opinion and a Grand Prix for large companies.

[08.03.2013] Two agreements on business cooperation in the area of regional development and infrastructure of this County were signed in the premises of Primorsko-Goranska County administration, today . MSc Gordana Kovačević, the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, signed the first one with Prof.DSc. Vidoje Vujić, acting county prefect, and the other one, with on the same subject with prof. DSc Heri Bezić, the dean of the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka.

[31.01.2013] “Our segments showed mixed developments during the year with strong growth in Global Services and Support Solutions, while Networks had a more challenging year. Support Solutions went from losses in 2011 into profitability and together with Global Services represented close to 50% of Group sales in 2012, compared to 42% in 2011,” says Hans Vestberg, President and CEO of Ericsson.

[24.01.2013] A conference on trends in telecommunications and media was held on Jan. 22 in Zagreb in cooperation between a magazine Lider and auditing company PricewaterhouseCoopers. The conference gathered a respectable number of participants from the given industries. It offered interesting lectures, exclusive opinions given by leaders of telecom companies, media and entertainment. In addition, a round table was organized where leaders of the above industries in Croatia participated.

[04.01.2013] Nikola Tesla, a genius with visionary mind, the world famous investigator and scientist in the area of electrical engineering, a man who improved our contemporary daily life beyond recognition, was born in 1856 in Smiljan, in the vicinity of Gospić, and died on Jan. 7, 1943 in New York.
