[22.12.2007] Ericsson has been selected by leading Austrian operator mobilkom austria (mobilkom) to expand and upgrade its WCDMA network with the latest high-capacity HSPA (High-Speed Packet Access) functionality in the region of Carinthia.

[21.12.2007] Ericsson has signed turnkey contracts as the total solution provider and prime integrator of Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN) to support the launch of seven digital cities across Greece.

[10.10.2007] The MPOWER project successfully passed the first review by the European Commission participating with more than 60 percent in the total project budget of 3,9 MEUR. Independent reviewers were highly satisfied with the project's progress and with deadlines met; for this Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the Croatian company and the biggest partner from the industry sector in the mentioned project deserves credit.

[07.12.2007] Recently Ericsson and Mobilkom Austria Group have agreed about a strategic agreement regarding their further collaboration. With this agreement Ericsson has secured his leadership as a core network, radio network and IMS provider for Mobilkom Austria Group that is present in 7 countries (Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia and Belarus); the customer has secured favorable prerequisites for further business expansion and growth.

[28.11.2007] During November the company Ericsson Nikola Tesla contracted several jobs in the markets of the Commonwealth of Independent Countries with the total value that exceeds HRK 11 million.

[28.09.2007] In Split, in the hotel Le Meridien Lav, on 27th Sept the 15th International Conference on Software, Telecommunications and Computer Networks was opened. Among the invited lecturers in the opening session was MSc Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla. She talked about how Ericsson Nikola Tesla perceives the role of information-communication technology in securing better quality of life for people today.

[31.08.2007] Ericsson and Deutsche Telekom, one of the world's largest incumbents, have entered a six-year managed services partnership. The strategically important contract covers the operation and maintenance of Deutsche Telekom's microwave network in Germany. 

[30.08.2007] Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed three new contracts in the Russian Federation in total valued at 14 million kunas.

[21.08.2007] After new business activities in July, traditionally good collaboration between Ericsson Nikola Tesla and BH Telecom, leading mobile operater in Bosnia and Herzegovina, continues further in August.

[14.08.2007] Ericsson has been chosen by Finnish operator Elisa to deliver WCDMA/HSPA network equipment, taking the longstanding relationship between the two companies to a new level. The expansion will virtually double the coverage and capacity of Elisa's existing WCDMA/HSPA network.

[13.08.2007] Ericsson is strengthening its leadership in WCDMA/HSPA networks with a new contract in Hungary. Telenor-affiliated operator Pannon has signed an agreement for the expansion of its mobile network, including deployment, integration and support services.

[12.07.2007] Ericsson announced at the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit in Geneva that it is collaborating with Stanford University to explore the innovative use of mobile technologies in distance e-learning.

[09.07.2007] In Sarajevo, Ericsson Nikola Tesla's president Gordana Kovačević and   BH Telecom's CEO Hamdo Katica signed new contracts for a GSM network extension and modernization. The new contracts are worth almost 28 million kunas, the projects should be completed early in October.

[28.06.2007] CNN International and Ericsson announced that Ericsson is to sponsor a new special series on the network titled 'Just Imagine' presenting six visionaries and their visions of the future.

[26.06.2007] Ipko Net Llc, the second mobile operator in Kosovo and Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the leading Croatian ICT company are setting up a new GSM network that will cover the whole territory of Kosovo.

[13.06.2007] On Tuesday, 12th June 2007 the company held its second in the row Suppliers' and Partners' Day. Some 60 suppliers and partners attended, together with ETK employees they collaborate with.

[12.06.2007] The company Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed a new contract with Lanit Partner from Habarovsk for the needs of the Far East Railway (DVŽD).

[11.06.2007] On June 10, 2007 Ericsson signed a GSM expansion framework agreement with China Mobile, valued at about USD 1 billion.
The Chinese President Hu Jintao was joined at the signing ceremony by the Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt.
Under the new framework agreement, China Mobile's GSM coverage in 19 regions of China will be expanded.

[04.06.2007] The General Shareholders Meeting of Ericsson Nikola Tesla was held on May 31, 2007. Gordana Kovačević, Ericsson Nikola Tesla president, addressed the attendants. In 2006 the company operated within the planned track record – operations were stable and showing a tendency toward moderate growth.

[30.05.2007] In collaboration with the consortium headed by Ericsson Nikola Tesla, activities to accomplish the  project entitled „Organized Land“have started. The contract is worth 22,5 MHRK. The contractual deadline for the implementation of the joint Land Information System (consisting of Land Records and Cadastral Data and Maps) is 2 years from now on, and the system shall secure FASTER, SIMPLER AND MORE SECURE real estate registering and related entitlement.

[23.05.2007] In order to help with a valuable project example to those who greatly contributed to our homeland through their personal involvement in the Croatian War of Independence, we decided to make a donation to the  Association of Discharged and Demobilized Soldiers who were treated for PSTD in the county of Šibenik and Knin - "The Knin Fortress".

[21.05.2007] One of the best known managers of the 20th century, Jack Welch, visited Zagreb on 17 May as a special guest of the regional "Adris Business Forum". Within the forum a Round Table discussion entitled "Leadership in South-Eastern Europe" took place. [09.05.2007] Cellular One customers across the US have access to the world's largest mobile music catalog thanks to a joint partnership between the wireless provider, Ericsson and Napster announced today. Napster Mobile is available to customers of Cellular One from Dobson Cellular Systems, one of the largest providers of wireless services in rural America.

[07.05.2007] Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the leading Croatian exporter of ICT products, services and solutions, has signed a contract with Megafon, a GSM operator in Russia, for delivery of their new wireline transit network based on Ericsson AXE system.

[04.05.2007] LOGIN@EUROPE is an annual, primary school and high school students contest in preparing web design pages for the young, with the page contents relating to the EU. The best web design page award went to the Technical, industrial and trade school from Čakovec. Ericsson Nikola Tesla had supported the Login@Europe contest since its very beginning; thus the company encourages innovativeness, competence development and knowledge of the European Union among young people.

[24.04.2007] Ericsson has been selected to provide its mobile TV solution to Telefónica España. The service will give end users easy access to Telefónica's rich mobile TV content and services. The deal will provide Telefónica España with the world's fastest channel selector, making mobile TV channel surfing much more convenient - just one click on the mobile handset is needed to change channels.

After having won a strategic and valuable GSM network expansion job with the Belarus customer Velcom, the company has contracted three other assignments in the markets of Moldavia, Russia and Uzbekistan, with the total value in the vicinity of HRK 9 million.

[10.04.2007] We are glad to announce that Ericsson Nikola Tesla  signed a contract with JV MDC Velcom, the first GSM mobile operator in the Republic of Belarus. The contract covers the infrastructure expansion and upgrade of the Velcom’s GSM core network and BSS. The contract is valued at USD 43,6 million and its realization is expected to be finalized by the end of October 2007.

[06.04.2007] Ericsson is set to achieve data speeds of up to 1Mbps in current GSM networks, enabling mobile broadband services for the world's 2 billion existing GSM subscribers.

[29.03.2007] Ericsson Nikola Tesla and the Port of Rijeka Authority contracted an end-to-end radar and communications system of sea shipping management, i.e. the Automatic Identification System and VHF system as well as the communication system connecting different locations within the Port of Rijeka Authority. his is the first end-to-end radar and communications system of sea shipping management to be implemented in Croatia.

[26.03.2007] The company Ericsson Nikola Tesla contracted with T-Mobile Montenegro the delivery of 3G and 2G equipment. The contract was signed on March 22, 2007 in Podgorica. It includes the necessary implementation services, equipment integration, including the solution and project management, as well as the IP Broadband Network Design. Under the contract Ericsson Nikola Tesla will also change the CC/MCC codes within the network operated by T-Mobile Montenegro. 

[22.03.2007] The Supervisory Board of the company Ericsson Nikola Tesla approved at their meeting of 21st March the Managing Director's proposal that shall be submitted to the General Shareholders' Assembly for payment of 320 HRK dividends per share. This amount includes 20 HRK of regular dividend compliant with the company's policy on dividend payment and 300 HRK of an extraordinary, non-recurring payment to shareholders.

[21.03.2007] AT&T Inc., Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC), France Telecom, Panasonic, Philips, Samsung, Siemens Networks, Sony, and Telecom Italia today announced the founding of the Open IPTV Forum, an industry consortium that will work to define an interoperable end-to-end specification for delivery of IPTV services.

[20.03.2007] Early this year the System Integration specialists from Ericsson Nikola Tesla successfully finished the upgrading project for the existing FileNet platform in T-HT. The documents archiving functionality was extended with the advanced functionalities for business processes and corporate contents automatization and management.

[16.03.2007] The new Vodafone Mobile Connect HSDPA+ Card will make it possible for customers to use the Internet at a speed of up to 7.2 Mbit/s in download for the first time in Europe. The partnership between Vipnet and Ericsson Nikola Tesla that provided the software solution and expertise in design and optimization of the radio access network in this project was thus strengthened.

[27.02.2007] Vodafone Iceland has selected Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) to deliver an end-to-end IPTV solution to consumers in Iceland. The integrated solution will be the first step in the evolution toward converged multimedia end-user services based on Ericsson IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS).

[21.02.2007] Ivo Sanader, the Prime Minister of RH officially put into operation the integrated primary health care information system. Gordana Kovačević emphasized in her speech that with this project and the solution developed and delivered by Ericsson Nikola Tesla the company had proved its maturity in handling a highly complex ICT system integration project.

[20.02.2007] Ericsson Nikola Tesla has won The Golden Marten Award, traditionally given to the most successful local companies by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. This most prestigious recognition of business excellence in Croatia was won against a very tough competition and it was received by Gordana Kovačević, company president from the hands of the Croatian prime minister Ivo Sanader.

[13.02.2007] Ericsson's new generation Enterprise Mobility Gateway offers network operators an open integrated solution for delivering a full range of mobile enterprise services.

[08.02.2007] On Wednesday, 7th Feb 2007 in late afternoon our company was visited by the members of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce and the British-Croatian Trade Network. Earlier, ETK president Gordana Kovačević had accepted the invitation by these two organizations to give a guest lecture for their members and had invited them to visit the company.

[07.02.2007] As part of a wide ranging deal, Ericsson and Turner are collaborating to develop Turner's internet, broadcast news and entertainment content - including CNN International and Cartoon Network.

[02.02.2007] On 2nd February a Ministry of Economy, Labor and Entrepreneurship delegation and the Minister Branko Vukelić came to Ericsson Nikola Tesla for a working visit relating to the new Croatian Export Strategy. During the working meeting ETK president Gordana Kovačević presented to the delegation the business results of the company, also its strategic guidelines and plans for future business development.

[31.01.2007] In Varaždin, on 30th Jan 2007 a ceremony took place (after the resolution adopted by the General Shareholders Meeting about the merger of the Varaždin and Zagreb Stock Exchanges) where a certificate of appreciation for the highest stock turnover on the Varaždin Stock Exchange was given to Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

[24.01.2007] Ericsson and The Orchard announced a global agreement to distribute full track downloads and master tones from The Orchard's independent labels across Ericsson's global network. The agreement covers all major territories outside the U.S.

[16.01.2007] At the end of last year the first Croatian business television Capital Network launched an initiative within which the entrepreneur and the most important business event of the year 2006 were to be announced. Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla was voted by the Capital Network viewers the entrepreneur of the year 2006.

[11.01.2007] Ericsson has signed a supply and delivery contract for PDH microwave radio, MINI-LINK, with Ranks Telecom, a leading PSTN operator in Bangladesh. The Ericsson equipment will be used in the expansion of the operator's transmission network across the country, with particular focus on the areas around Comilla, Khulna, Bogra and Rajshahi.
