[14.12.2012] Ericsson Nikola Tesla marked the end of the business year by organizing a Christmas party in the magnificent building of the Contamporary Art Museum in Novi Zagreb. Along with a cultural program three most important and socially valuable company projects in 2012 were presented.

[21.11.2012] The fist international HeERO conference covering e-Call held recently in Zagreb was organized by the National Protection and Rescue Directorate in cooperation with the European organizations ERTICO – ITS Europe and EENA and partners in the pilot project, Hrvatski autoklub and Ericsson Nikola Tesla as a technologic partner.

[15.11.2012.] The sixth round table this year, within the project “Healthcare System Analysis” was held at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 13.  The event was aimed to provide answers to the burning issues of the Croatian healthcare system:  Are hospital doomed to operate with losses?

[30.10.2012] The total sales revenue increased by 87% year-over-year as a result of the revenue growth in both the CIS and Ericsson markets. Sales in the domestic and regional markets witnessed a decrease, mainly due to the unfavorable economic trends, political instability in the markets of the region, but also due to postponed customer investments.

[26.10.2012] Ericsson President and CEO Hans Vestberg says demand for Global Services and Support Solutions continued to be good while Networks showed a decline in sales year on year. In North America, Networks sales developed favorably despite the expected decline in CDMA sales while parts of Europe, China, Korea and Russia remained slow.

[24.10.2012] The 12th generation of both female and male students, attendees of the International Ericsson Nikola Tesla Summer Camp, officially ended a program on Oct. 19. The program was especially prepared for them and aimed to solving of challenges in the current research and development projects.

[19.10.2012] MSc Nedžad Rešidbegović, Director General of BH Telecom and MSc Gordana Kovačević, President of Ericssona Nikola Tesla, signed contracts on the extension of radio part of the mobile network related to GSM/UMTS technologies as well as the expansion of fixed BH Telecom network. The total value of the contracts amounts to MHRK 81.

[12.10.2012] More than 20 Russian and Ukrainian journalists visited Croatia collecting materials relating to e/m-health. They visited our company and had an opportunity to meet prof. DSc Rajko Ostojić, the Minister of Healthcare,  DSc Siniša Varga, the head of CIHI and MSc Gordana Kovačević, ETK president with her management team.

[28.09.2012] A conference of cities and municipalities on the efficient management of the local economic development attracted more than a hundred participants from the state and local government, science, economy and non-profitable sector. The gathering was honored by the presence of DSc Ivo Josipović the President of the Republic of Croatia, and the audience was welcome by Hrvoje Beničić, ETK Engagement Practice and Customer Solutions director in Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

[17.09.2012] Within this year international Summer Camp, there was a special social event in Ericsson Nikola Tesla on Sept. 13, dedicated to improvements for students entering the labor market, to daily business environment and their additional integration into the academy community and connection with tutors from  the company.

[17.09.2012] The International scientific conference on software, telecommunications and computer network, SoftCOM 2012 took place in Split from 11th to 13th of September and marked its 20th anniversary. During the conference, numerous professionals and scientists coming from 22 countries, among which, there were Ericsson Nikola Tesla employees, had the opportunity to participate in a number of professional workshops, tutorial, and at the Economy Forum for ICT segment..

[23.08.2012] Vipnet has chosen Ericsson Nikola Tesla as a strategic partner for upgrading its network to latest 4G technology, LTE. With this contract, Ericsson Nikola Tesla becomes a solo vendor of the state-of-the-art Single Radio Access Network for Vipnet. The contracted business is a part of the broader five-year strategic contract between Ericsson and A1 Telekom Austria group, concerning the modernization and upgrade of Austrian and Croatian mobile networks to LTE technology.

[29.06.2012] Rostelecom, the country’s fourth-largest national operator with a presence in all Russian regions, and a longtime partner of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, part of the Ericsson Group, has recently chosen this Croatian company for equipment delivery of a new cutting edge Mobile and Content Delivery Networks.

[28.06.2012] There is no doubt that the topic that draws significant attention and is currently important in the for the Croatian economy and society, as a whole, is the one on the export of knowledge. Primarily it is about the knowledge achieved in high technology industry through research and similar activities related to innovations.

[21.06.2012.] Pursuant to the Decision on dividend payment passed by the General Assembly of the joint stock company Ericsson Nikola Tesla we notify the shareholders that the dividend for the business year 2011 will be paid out on June 28, 2012.

[19.06.2012] Eight in the row symposium titled IntSikt 2012, an international forum for scientists and engineers expressing interests into information and telecommunications technologies that was held al the beginning of June in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

[08.06.2012] Ericsson releases its second Traffic and Market Report - On the Pulse of the Networked Society, revealing that by 2017, 85 percent of the world's population will have 3G coverage, 50 percent of the world's population will be covered by 4G in 2017, smartphone subscriptions expected to reach 3 billion and global data traffic will grow 15 times.

[06.06.2012] Ericsson Nikola Tesla shareholder's annual assembly was held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, with the represented equity capital of HRK 85,273,300 that is 64.04 % of the total share capital of the Company. Thus the prerequisites for lawfully convened and eligible operation of the assembly were met.

[05.06.2012] The majority of participants attending a round table on the primary health care (PZZ) and the public and private partnership in the health care system that was held on June 4, agreed that the new model, covering the strengthening of preventive measures, and further development of the system informatization, along with the improvement in the quality of services is a significant and positive shift in the organization of the system.

[31.05.2012] The sixth traditional Supplier's and Partners' Day was the event that took place Ericsson Nikola Tesla premises on May 29, 2012. The event gathered all key suppliers and partners of the company. This year the topic dealt with a strengthening of the competitiveness and activities that we need to undertake in order to adjust quickly to market conditions and challenges, as well as to regulatory changes regarding the Croatia accession to the EU.

[29.05.2012] Health Care Business Arena 2012, the regional conference on business in the health care industry, organized by Infoarena and under the auspices of the Ministry of Health, was held in the “Regent Esplanade” in Zagreb, on May 24 and 25, 2012.

[25.05.2012] After a five-day work, the jubilee 35th MIPRO, which is the largest, the oldest and the most important non-commercial regional gathering dedicated to the information and communications technology, electronics and microelectronics, ended on Friday May 25.

[16.05.2012] Croatia made the greatest leap forward as said at the presentation of Euro Health Consumer Index – EHCI, in the European parliament in Brussels. Since the former report, Croatia jumped by six positions and took the 17th position, in a group with Germany and United Kingdom.

[14.05.2012] Ericsson has been selected by T-Mobile USA to support the company's USD4 billion network transformation, which includes preparatory work for the launch of LTE in 2013.

[11.05.2012] A unique conclusion of the conference titled Investment Summit Croatia, held on May 9 in Zagreb, was that fundamental prerequisites for more significant inflow of foreign investments that are so much needed are creating a stable business environment and a favorable investment climate. At this business and financial gathering the company, Ericsson Nikola Tesla, as a member of the global Ericsson Corporation, had particularly prominent role.

[04.05.2012] Ericsson Nikola Tesla made a new contract on the extension of the existing mobile network HT Mostar, in 2G and 3G segment. Under the signed contract, Ericsson Nikola Tesla will deliver to HT Mostar radio base stations of the latest generations and open to future technologies, and the corresponding software, as well as services of installation and integration into HT Mostar network. The contract value amounts to MHRK 36, and the realization is to start immediately.

[27.04.2012] “During Q1 the Company was strongly focused on several strategic projects and activities, bearing in mind all business challenges, and opportunities, as well as the need for fast adjustment to business environment. New business opportunities appeared, both in the domestic and foreign markets, primarily in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS)", says Gordana Kovačević, the President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

[25.04.2012] “Sales of high-performance mobile broadband developed well in North America, Japan and Korea, while other regions such as Europe including Russia, parts of Middle East and India were weaker,” says Hans Vestberg, President and CEO of Ericsson.

[18.04.2012] Ericsson will upgrade SOFTBANK MOBILE´s packet core network, including systems integration and deployment of an Evolved Packet Core (EPC) solution, and build a new LTE radio access network using RBS 6000 multi-standard base stations.

[05.04.2012] At the International conference Energy Efficiency Arena 2012 , held on April  3 and  4  in Regent hotel Esplanade in Zagreb, the attention of the audience was drawn by the  presentation on the topic of Green Technologies and Networked Society by Branko Dronjić, a regional director for IT and test environment in Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

[30.03.2012] Within the European week of ICT Occupations and Digital Competence, eSkills week 2012, a special attention was paid to elderly people and their understanding of the newly implemented e-services. Darko Gvozdanović, Ericsson Nikola Tesla, manager and expert in e-health segment, gave a lecture titeld:“e-Health Impact to Individuals and Society ".

[26.03.2012] Today, Vipnet and Ericsson Nikola Tesla launched the first LTE network in Croatia.  By number of commercial contracts, Ericsson is the market leader with the share o more than 60 percent. The latest data show that Ericsson has realized 45 contracts on LTE/EPC (Evolved Packet Core) in 23 countries in five continents. This enabled the coverage of 215 million end users by  Ericsson LTE networks.

[21.03.2012] The second round table within the Project titled “Healthcare system analysis” took place on Wednesday March 21, in the Croatian Chamber of Crafts.  Gordana Kovacevic, the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, discussed the role of integrated information healthcare system, and confirmed that the computerization of the healthcare system has already achieved successful effects and by implementation of CHIS a new value was added to the healthcare system.

[12.03.2012] Nedžad Rešidbegović, MSc, the general manager of BH Telecom, the leading telecom operator in  Bosnia and Herzegovina and Gordana Kovačević, MSc, the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the leading regional supplier for  information and communication technology solutions, signed on March 12, 2012 in Zagreb the contract related to the support and maintenance of fixed and mobile BH Telecom  technologies, in the coming period.

[08.03.2012] Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed a contract with the Kosovo operator Ipko, amounting to MHRK 20. It is about the contract covering the use of the latest software versions in Ericsson network elements, implemented into Ipko network, for the next two and a half year period.

[06.03.2012] Increased data speeds will enable smartphones and other LTE devices – such as tablets and routers – to deliver an even better end-user experience.

[27.02.2012] The dividend shall be paid out to all shareholders who seven days prior to the Annual Shareholders Meeting (i.e. on May 29, 2012) have Company shares registered on their securities account in the Central Depository&Clearing Company.

[21.02.2012] At the press conference held in Ericsson Nikola Tesla on Feb. 21, 2012, the business results achieved in 2011 and the forecast for 2012 were announced. The gathering was attracted by numerous journalists from newspapers, radio and TV, as well as the representatives of investors and financial analysts.

[07.02.2012] The Round Table titled “Blood count of healthcare System” that took place on Feb. 6, in the  packed with audience  premises of Novinarski Dom (Journalist' association) in Zagreb, was the first in the row of six planned round tables to discuss  the current situation in Croatian Healthcare system.

[07.02.2012] A conference titled Value Management in the Function of Promoting Human Rights and Sustainable Development that was organized by the Office of Human Rights with the Government of Croatia, and Ericsson Nikola Tesla, took place in the company premises. Its aim was to set the cause-effect relationship of the socially responsible business operation, both in private and public sector, and the status of Human rights in the Republic of Croatia.

[30.01.2012] Within the Cycle of lectures “Croatia at the Doorstep of EU” The University of Zagreb and the EU delegation in Croatia organized on Jan. 18 a public discussion on the Croatian research and high education system within the context of EU integration process.

[25.01.2012] “For the full year 2011, we had a strong sales growth and an increase in net income. In the fourth quarter, however, we saw weaker development in Networks, as well as an expected gross margin impact from a changed business mix with more coverage projects, modernization projects in Europe, and a higher services share,” says Hans Vestberg, President and CEO of Ericsson.

[19.01.2012] The Deloitte office in Zagreb, in partnership with the business weekly Leader, held on January 17 a conference on trends in technology, media and telecommunications (TMT)  in 2012. The conference presented Deloitte's global survey in TMT sector. The round table on future development of TMT sector gathered together key players in the given industry.
