Remote Patient Monitoring System
2012

More than 20 Russian and Ukrainian journalists visited Croatia collecting materials relating to e/m-health. They visited our company and had an opportunity to meet prof. DSc Rajko Ostojić, the Minister of Healthcare,  DSc Siniša Varga, the head of CIHI and MSc Gordana Kovačević, ETK president with her management team.

Feasibility studies conducted by Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) show that the Ericsson Mobile Innovation Village model could empower rural communities with its remote health monitoring, mobile IP communications, and cloud computing components.
Initiative aims to empower villagers by offering ubiquitous healthcare services, mobile communications and computing.
2011

Ericsson's mobile initiatives related to health care in Vietnam, where EMH is key part, won the "Best ICT initiatives in health care", that was officially awarded December 2 at the prestigious annual ICT event, "eAsie 2011" in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

Mobile operator VivaCell-MTS and Yerevan State Medical University have together during the Third Medical Congress of Armenia, held on July 7-8, presented mHealth pilot program, based on wireless technology and Ericsson Mobile Health solution.

A three day event under the title „Healthcare days in Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation“ took place in Sarajevo „Skenderija Centre“. On Thursday June 7, on the first day of this event, our company solutions for e-health segment were successfully presented.

Ericsson CEO, Hans Vestberg in addressing the audience at the international CTIA Wireless 2011 underlined the opportunities offered by the mobile health service. He drew the attention to the fact that Ericsson Mobile Health, a solution by our company, in cooperation with Etisalat, is currently in trial operation in Saudi Arabia. During the presentation, Hans Vestberg explained the advantages of the solution for e-Health that was developed and implemented in Croatia.

At this year’s CeBIT, traditionally taking place in Hannover, Germany, Ericsson showcased the Ericsson Mobile Health solution in cooperation with Vodafone. At specially designed “Future Corner”, among innovative solutions, special attention was paid to healthcare solutions.

Mobily and Swedish infrastructure giant Ericsson running a mobile healthcare solution "proof of concept" for a major Healthcare institution in the Kingdom, whereby patients can be monitored remotely in a more effective manner. Mobily mHealth solution is an ICT-enabled e-health solution, developed as Ericsson Mobile Health in Ericsson Nikola Tesla, which provides wireless patient healthcare monitoring and gathering of vitals at predefined intervals and durations.

2010

In the competition Vidi e-novation, Ericsson Nikola Tesla won the prize “Tesla's Golden Egg” in the category of large companies for its remote patient monitoring product - Ericsson Mobile Health.

Within the scope of systematic presentations of solutions from M-Health segment at GSMA Mobile Asia Congress 2010, Ericsson Corporation was represented by Boris Drilo, the director for ICT solutions in industry and society from Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

With an aim to improve the level of awareness of the positive impact by the telecom industry on sustainability, a whole day gathering was organized with reporters and guests on the topic "The Way ICT Contributes to CO2 Reduction". 

MEDICA, the world’s largest annual gathering of health professionals took place from Nov. 17 to Nov. 20, 2010 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Ericsson presented several different solutions from e-health domain: Ericsson Mobile Health for remote patient monitoring, Healthcare Networking Information System and Hospital Information System developed by Ericsson Nikola Tesla, as well as Ericsson research mHealth project CARE.
Sixth in a row, Vodafone Innovation Day held from Nov. 9 to 11, in Vodafone Test & Innovation Center in Düsseldorf, Germany. Ericsson Mobile Health solution was successfully presented there.

A three day event under the title „Healthcare days in Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation“ ended in Sarajevo „Skenderija Centre“ on Thursday June 10. The event was devoted to current topics in healthcare, and our company solutions for e-health segment were successfully presented there.

Under the slogan „Better City, Better Life“ the world nations gathered in Shanghai at World Expo to represent the common vision on better living in the future urban environments. Innovative urban strategies and sustainable development were given the emphasis.

The international conference Med-E-Tel, hosted by the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth, took place this year from April 14 to 16 in Luxembourg.

Ericsson's President and CEO Hans Vestberg met the shareholders in his new position for the first time at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in Stockholm. In his presentation, Vestberg gave an overview of 2009 and also acknowledged his predecessor Carl-Henric Svanberg.

International CTIA Wireless 2010 show has been held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, from March 23rd to 25th. CTIA, now ongoing for 25 years, is one of the largest events in the wireless industry, gathering professionals, exhibitors, media analysts and press from all over the world.

Ericsson took part in the 1st Telemedicine Congress, which recently took place in Tunisia and was present with its own presentation during the one day congress untitled ‘Ericsson Mobile Health’.

The world–class exhibition of mobile communications products and the supporting industry, GSMA Mobile World Congress (MWC) that was held in Barcelona finally come to a close. Within 5 worlds of Ericsson, Ericsson Nikola Tesla successful presented EMH (Ericsson Mobile Health).

Speaking at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Hans Vestberg, Ericsson  President and CEO presented  Ericsson  vision for the future.  Ericsson Nikola Tesla's EMH solution is part of  Ericsson exhibition area.
