[19.12.2011] Ericsson's mobile initiatives related to health care in Vietnam, where EMH is key part, won the "Best ICT initiatives in health care", that was officially awarded December 2 at the prestigious annual ICT event, "eAsie 2011" in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

[16.12.2011] The Human Rights Office at the Croatian Government, in a partnership with the Organization for Assistance and Education of Mobbing Victims, and the Institute for Labor Market Development have initiated the project named Key Diversity. The Key Diversity award for encouraging general equality in employment was awarded to Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

[15.12.2011] Ericsson Nikola Tesla organized the Christmas Party to mark the past business year and invited a great number of guests who gathered in Saloon, the reputable Zagreb Club on December 8, 2011.

[06.12.2011] Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed new contracts amounting to MHRK 33 for the CIS and Bosnia & Herzegovina markets.

[25.11.2011] The second edition of Ericsson's etworked Society City Index ranks 25 of the world's largest cities according to their ability to transform ICT to social, economic and environmental benefits. The top three cities in the index - Seoul, Singapore and Stockholm - have successfully met many social, economic and environmental targets by making extensive investments in ICT.

[24.11.2011] Mr. Andy Rooke, the European organization ERTICO representative and the HeERO project coordinator, yesterday visited Zagreb, and held talks with the national consortium representatives. Afterwards, the delegation visited Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the active participant in this important project, where he and the representatives of the national consortium witnessed the live eCall demonstration.

[17.11.2011] International Conference on Lifelong Education and Human Potentials Development -  Educa plus, was held in Zagreb. The experiences within Ericsson Nikola Tesla were presented by  Marijana Đuzel, the  director of Human Resources  and Organization, and  Darko Huljenić, the manager for cooperation with the scientific and academic society.

[11.11.2011] Rüdiger Schulz, Chief Executive Officer of Crnogorski Telekom and Gordana Kovačević, MSc, the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla in Podgorica signed on Nov. 10, a frame agreement, defining the cooperation in the radio access network for the next five years.

[07.11.2011] A conference on social responsibility and anti corruption was held under the motto: Responsibility, Integrity and Transparency in Business on Thursday, Nov. 3, in Zagreb. Ericsson Nikola Tesla has been the company recognized in the region for the policy and practice distinguished in the given segment. Therefore, Gordana Kovačević, MSc, the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, gave a presentation on the social responsibility and anticorruption.

[25.10.2011] At the Zagreb Stock Exchange 21st Conference, and it is about the central point where Croatian and regional financial unit gather,  the Poslovni dnevnik (a business daily) awarded Ericsson Nikola Tesla the title of the best domestic company for relations with investor. The second and the third position, respectively were awarded Croatian Telecom (HT) and Atlantic group.

[20.10.2011] “Group sales in the quarter increased by 17% year-over-year driven by a continued strong demand for mobile broadband as well as increased services revenues,” says Hans Vestberg, President and CEO of Ericsson.

[07.10.2011] Ericsson Nikola Tesla contracted new export deals amounting to more than MHRK 60.  The majority of contracts refer to the CIS market. It is about the modernization and extension of mobile and fixed networks, as well as about the IP-oriented solutions for business clients.

[29.09.2011] The event that was held in Ericsson Nikola Tesla on Sept. 28 and titled “Synergy Drives Changes” was crown of this year Summer Camp. It gathered numerous participants of the Summer Camp 2011, representatives of the academic community and the hosts both from Ericsson Nikola Tesla, and Ericsson.

[27.09.2011] Hans Vestberg, President and CEO of Ericsson, was among the winners of the first South-South Awards. This new award recognizes governments, organizations and individuals who have made crucial contributions through the use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) to help achieve the Millennium Development Goals.

[16.09.2011] Ericsson Nikola Tesla made the contract with the Crnogorski Telekom worth over HRK 10 million. The scope of contract is upgrade, extension and modernization of the Crnogorski Telekom mobile and fixed networks as well as the introduction of the Number Portability Service into the mobile and fixed networks. Due to the signed contract T-Mobile users will be the first with HSDPA+ access at data rate up to 42 Mbps in Montenegro.

[16.09.2011] The Croatian Innovation Quotient project for the selection of leading innovative companies in Croatia has been successfully completed by announcement of the winners. Ericsson Nikola Tesla is the winner in the category of large companies. On behalf of the company Dr. Darko Huljenić, Manager for Technology and Scientific Activities, took the award.

[02.09.2011] Today in Sarajevo MSc. Nedžad Rešidbegović, General Director of BH Telecom and Jagoda Barać, Marketing and Sales Director of the Neighbouring Countries Unit in Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed the contract for modernization of BH Telecom mobile network. The contract price is HRK 15 million.

[19.08.2011] LTE technology is known for its ultrafast mobile broadband capabilities. Now it is helping deliver better quality live-TV coverage from events on the move, improving the experience for both broadcasters and viewers.

[28.07.2011] Gordana Kovačević, the President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla commented on the Company’s performance: “Ericsson Nikola Tesla operated in a very complex and challenging environment characterized by reduced capital investments by telecom operators, permanent pressure on prices and fierce competition."

[22.07.2011] Ericsson released its Q2 2011 results.

[15.07.2011] Mobile operator VivaCell-MTS and Yerevan State Medical University have together during the Third Medical Congress of Armenia, held on July 7-8, presented mHealth pilot program, based on wireless technology and Ericsson Mobile Health solution.

[11.07.2011] In Sarajevo on Thursday July 7th the International Independent Agency together with the European Association of Managers and Euromanager magazine organized the 24th Award Ceremony for the Best Manager of the Year and the Best Company of the Year in the South Eastern and Central Europe.

[08.07.2011] Ericsson Nikola Tesla and BH Telecom made a new contract for upgrade and expansion of BH Telecom fixed network worth more than HRK 10 million. Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s experts will immediately start the works, which are planned to be completed by the end of 2011.

[28.06.2011] Today, Ericsson demonstrated the next step of LTE, known as LTE Advanced, to the Swedish Post and Telecom Agency (PTS). The demonstration, held in Kista, Sweden, featured speeds more than 10 times faster than those currently experienced by LTE consumers in Sweden.

[15.06.2011] A project developed jointly by Ericsson and Melbourne University’s Institute for a Broadband-Enabled Society (IBES) has received a Global Innovation Award at the 2011 Global Telecoms Business Awards ceremony in London.

[08.06.2011] A three day event under the title „Healthcare days in Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation“ took place in Sarajevo „Skenderija Centre“. On Thursday June 7, on the first day of this event, our company solutions for e-health segment were successfully presented.

[03.06.2011] MIPRO 2011, the most significant, the largest and the longest lasting non-commercial regional convention on ICT, electronics and microelectronics ended on Friday, May 27. Ericsson Nikola Tesla Company, as in the last years, actively participated in the convention, not only as a prominent sponsor, but also as a participant in several round tables and workshops and gave significant contribution to counseling “Telecommunications and information technology”.

[02.06.2011] At the conference "The Future Starts Now", numerous prominent speakers discussed the future of technology, work force market and education, development opportunities for Croatian companies, employers' contributions to society, development of Croatian regions with their peculiarities, as well as trends in energetic segment. Among those who addressed the audience was Gordana Kovačević MSc., ETK President.

[01.06.2011] Annual Shareholders’ Assembly of the joint stock company Ericsson Nikola Tesla took place on May 31, 2011 with the represented equity capital of HRK 83,962,600, which means 63.05 percent of the total share capital of the Company. Thus, the conditions for lawfully convened an eligible operation of the annual general assembly were set which was the precondition for the decisions made to be legally valid.

[24.05.2011] Olga Georgievna Mazunina, the mayor of a Russian town Balakovo, visited Zagreb with her associates. They spent several days in the capital of Croatia. Being interested in new technologies, especially solutions for industry and society, they visited  Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

[20.05.2011] The first Congress of Croatian Managers and Entrepreneurs was held on May 18, 2011 in Zagreb. In order to create long-term perspective for growth the Croatian managers and entrepreneurs initiated the draw up of a strategic document. Gordana Kovačević, MSc, the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla also addressed the audience and presented her vision of the development.

[19.05.2011] Ericsson Nikola Tesla and HT Mostar signed a contract on the extension and modernization of the current mobile network, in 2G and the newly added 3G part. This contract is of special importance because it makes Ericsson Nikola Tesla the single vendor for HT Mostar network, in its radio part.

[17.05.2011] A golden index is an award established by the eStudent Asociation, aimed for companies that contributed to the quality of studying, as well as supporting students to gain education that is more advanced and at the same time, to connect them to the world of business.  Ericsson Nikola Tesla was awarded as big company in categories Practice and the Best image, as percepted by students. The company was also awarded Grand Prix, the most important award.

[29.04.2011] This year, the Croatian National Council for Occupational Health and Safety at Work organized the celebration of the National day of occupational health and safety at work. The solemnization took place on April 28, in Ericsson Nikola Tesla. The representatives of the Government, trade unions professional organizations and specialists in the safety at work area, attended the event.

[28.04.2011] Gordana Kovačević, the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla commented on the Company’s performance: „Overall Ericsson Nikola Tesla results for the first quarter of 2011 show a decrease in Orders of 31% year-over-year, but at the same time, a 2% year-over-year increase in Sales and an improvement in Gross Margin and Operating Profit."

[15.04.2011] Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar (EIHP) in Zagreb, organized a press conference to present the initiative titled E-mobility. It was about the promotion of electric vehicles that are considered the most efficient and ecologically sustainable individual means of transportation. Ericsson Nikola Tesla is the participant in the initiative with the prototype of ICT solution for network management of electric vehicles power supply stations.

[24.03.2011] Ericsson CEO, Hans Vestberg in addressing the audience at the international CTIA Wireless 2011 underlined the opportunities offered by the mobile health service. He drew the attention to the fact that Ericsson Mobile Health, a solution by our company, in cooperation with Etisalat, is currently in trial operation in Saudi Arabia. During the presentation, Hans Vestberg explained the advantages of the solution for e-Health that was developed and implemented in Croatia.

[16.03.2011] Ericsson extends its condolences to the Japanese people in this tragic situation and remains fully committed to supporting all our customers in any way possible in securing that the vital mobile networks are functioning satisfactorily. At the same time, Ericsson is analyzing the broader effects on the telecommunications industry and Ericsson's business.

[10.03.2011] At this year’s CeBIT, traditionally taking place in Hannover, Germany, Ericsson showcased the Ericsson Mobile Health solution in cooperation with Vodafone. At specially designed “Future Corner”, among innovative solutions, special attention was paid to healthcare solutions.

[10.03.2011] Organized by the student union eStudent, a lecture titled „Women Leaders“was held on March 8, at the University of Economy in Zagreb. Gordana Kovačević, the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, presented her experience of being at the head of the leading Croatian company of knowledge.

[2.03.2011] On the occasion of the gala assembly of the Croatian Chamber of Economy (Hrvatska gospodarska komora – HGK),held on Feb. 28 in the evening, at the National and University Library in Zagreb, the most successful Croatian companies, banks, assurance agencies and individuals were awarded for their performance in 2010. In the large companies category the award was given to Ericsson Nikola Tesla for positive business practice in all areas of corporate social responsibility.

[21.02.2011] At the press conference held on February 21. 2011, Ericsson Nikola Tesla announced business results for 2010. Also, the expectations for 2011 were presented. The conference was attended by the large number of press, radio and TV reporters, as well as investor representatives and financial analysts.

[15.02.2011] Hans Vestberg, President and CEO of Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC), said in his address to journalists on opening day of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that "only our imaginations can stop us" in realizing a networked society, where everything that can benefit from a connection will have one.

[04.02.2011] Ericsson Widget Awards is the ongoing competition with the objective to develop mobile widgets (applications).

[01.02.2011] Ericsson announced that it has been selected by Singapore's MediaCorp to enable and manage MediaCorp's new over-the-top service via broadband connection to their customers. The contract is Ericsson's first managed services deal with a media company in Asia and includes a broad range of Ericsson TV solutions.

[25.01.2011] Group sales in the quarter increased 8 percent year-over-year and 32 percent sequentially mainly driven by a strong development in mobile broadband, says President and CEO Hans Vestberg.

[21.01.2011] Deloitte Croatia presented research results on “Trends in Telecommunications“  in front of the key persons of Croatian telecommunications industry. Gordana Kovačević MSc, the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, participated in the Round Table on this conference with the topic on future development of telecom sector.

[19.01.2011] An academic donor dinner held on Jan. 17 in the Scientific and University Campus Borongaj was the occasion to give recognitions to companies-donors for their great contributions to the National Foundation for Support the Pupil and Student Standard of Living in Croatia . Among the recognized companies, there was ETK. The Minister of Science, Education and Sports Radovan Fuchs, PhD, handed in the recognition to Gordana Kovačević, MSc the company president.

[04.01.2011] Mobily and Swedish infrastructure giant Ericsson running a mobile healthcare solution "proof of concept" for a major Healthcare institution in the Kingdom, whereby patients can be monitored remotely in a more effective manner. Mobily mHealth solution is an ICT-enabled e-health solution, developed as Ericsson Mobile Health in Ericsson Nikola Tesla, which provides wireless patient healthcare monitoring and gathering of vitals at predefined intervals and durations.
